% 09.10.2025 CRL.M.A. 29970/2025 (under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 on behalf of the Respondent to Place the Death Certificate of Sh. S.S. Ahluwalia on record) 1.

An Application has been filed to submit that the Respondent S.S. Ahluwalia has expired on 24.08.2025 in support of which the Death Certificate has been placed on record.

It is further submitted that in CC No.213/2019 titled CBI vs. S.S. Ahluwalia and Another pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, CBI, New Delhi this factum of death of Mr. S.S. Ahluwalia has been verified vide the Verification Report and the learned Special Judge vide Order dated 11.09.2025 has ordered abatement of the proceedings against him that were The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. pending in his Court. It is, therefore, submitted that the Death Certificate of Respondent S.S. Ahluwalia be taken record and the proceedings be abated. 3.

Learned counsel for CBI admits that the Verification has been done about the factum of death in the proceedings pending before the learned Special Judge and the proceedings have been abated, but submits that because the Death Certificate has been filed in the present proceedings for the first time, some time may be given for the verification of the Death Certificate.

Considering that the factum of death has already been verified in another proceedings, the present proceedings are held to have abated. 6.

The Petition is accordingly disposed of.
