This writ petition is filed seeking an appropriate direction to respondent No.2 to convene its meeting and decide the application of the petitioner for D.El.Ed course for the academic year 2020-21. 2.

The case of the petitioner is that he had applied to NCTE for getting recognition for the said course in December, 2012. After a chequered history, on 19.09.2019, NRC considered the application of the petitioner and issued a show cause notice.

The petitioner filed his reply on 09.10.2019. The jurisdiction now stands transferred from NRC to WRC. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite several meetings of WRC, the case of the petitioner has not been taken up.

Let WRC expeditiously dispose of the application of the petitioner as per law preferably within a period of three months. If possible, the said application may be considered in the next meeting of WRC.
