The present petition has been filed seeking following relief: "a) Issue writ(s) including a writ of mandamus directing the Respondent No. 1 to re-conduct the final examinations for the Petitioners and allow them to complete their academic year, and/or consequently, promote/absorb them in the ongoing academic year.

b) Alternatively, upon clearing of examinations by the Petitioners, provide a School Leaving Certificate to the Petitioners"

The notice in the petition was issued vide order dated 28.04.2025. 3.

Mr. Ranjan Kumar, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no.1/school enters appearance.

is ready to hand over the school leaving certificate. 4.

The Principal of the school is present in Court and he has handed over the school leaving certificate of the petitioner no.1 to the learned counsel for the petitioners.

Insofar as petitioner no.2 is concerned, she is studying in class IX (9th). The parties are ad idem that the petitioner no.2 could not take final examination of class IX. However, she is being permitted by the school to take her class IX examination which are scheduled to commence from 15th May, 2025.

The learned counsel for the respondent no.1/school submits that after the result of class IX is declared, the school leaving certificate of the petitioner no. 2 will also be issued to the petitioner no.2. The statement is taken on record and the respondent no.1 shall remain bound by the same. 7.

The learned counsel for the respondent no.1/school, on instructions, also submits that the respondent no.1/school will not insist on the payment of any fee dues, which are outstanding from the petitioners. The statement is taken on record and the respondent no.1/school shall remain bound by the same.

In view of the above, no further order is called for. 9.

The petition stands disposed of.
