% 30.01.2017 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 21st July, 2016, passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.(C) 5992/2016, whereby the order dated 17th June, 2016 passed by the respondent was set aside and the matter was remitted to the respondent for conducting a fresh hearing and to dispose of the proceedings within three weeks from the commencement of hearing. Learned counsel for the petitioner-association states that despite making several representations, the respondent has not complied with the aforesaid order till date.

Learned counsel for respondent who appears on advance notice has, today in Court, handed over a photocopy of the order dated 27th January, 2017 whereby the proceeding has been disposed of in accordance with the order dated 17th June, 2016. The same is taken on record. In view thereof, present contempt petition and applications are disposed of. In the event, the petitioner or any of the parties in the writ petition is aggrieved by the order dated 27th January 2017, it shall be at liberty to file appropriate proceedings in accordance with law. This Court clarifies that it has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the controversy. The rights and contentions of all parties are left open. MANMOHAN, J JANUARY 30, 2017 rn
