This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking an appropriate direction to set aside the order dated 16.06.2016 passed by WRC and the appeal order dated 02.09.2016 passed by NCTE whereby the annual intake of the petitioner institution was reduced from 100 to 50. 2.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner institution was granted recognition on 27.06.2005 for running a B.Ed course with an annual intake of 100 students. On 16.06.2016, WRC reduced the intake of the petitioner institution on account of alleged inadequacy in the duly approved staff. The appeal committee has also rejected the appeal of the petitioner institution on 02.09.2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner institution's Proprietor/Director is handicapped person and hence the delay in filing the writ petition. He, however, states that the petitioner is now complying with all the required requisite declarations/staff requirement as is

manifest from the documents which are being filed along with this writ petition. He seeks appropriate directions to the respondent to re-consider the case of the petitioner.

Keeping in view the peculiar facts and circumstances of this case including the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, it would be in the interest of justice that the respondent may treat this writ petition as a representation of the petitioner which may be considered by WRC expeditiously as per law.

Nothing further survives in this petition. Petition is accordingly disposed of. All pending applications, if any, are also disposed of. JAYANT NATH, J.
