The petitioners have filed a representation before the Central Water Commission ["Commission"] on 07.03.2025, alleging that they are entitled to family pension and other death cum retirement benefits in respect of late Sh. Satpal, who worked as a Chowkidar in the Commission.

There were some controversy between the various claimants to the estate of late Sh. Satpal and it appears that the petitioners and their mother have also filed a Civil Suit no. CS DJ 205720/2016, in this regard, which resulted in a judgment dated 17.08.2020. 3.
The representation of the petitioners is, according to them, in consonance with the judgment of the Civil Court. 4.

Having regard to the limited relief sought, Ms. Archana Kumari, learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, on instructions, submits that the petitioners' representation will be disposed of within a period of three months from today. 6.
The respondents may also call for any clarification or records required from the petitioners in support of their case. 7.
The writ petition is disposed of in terms of the above submission, without any observation affecting the merits of the petitioners case. 8.
Pending application also stands disposed of.
