The petitioner has sought parole in case FIR No.629/2016 of PS Mukherjee Nagar for offence under Section 302/120B IPC. Learned counsel for petitioner admits that application of the petitioner for grant of parole is pending before the Competent Authority. Learned ASC accepts notice and has shown me the Nominal Roll, reflecting unsatisfactory conduct of petitioner in jail including the fresh FIR for offence under Section 302 IPC during the period of his earlier parole. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that currently medical condition of the petitioner is bad and parole application filed on 24.04.2025 would need one month to be decided. 3.

Competent Authority to decide the parole application expeditiously, keeping in mind medical condition of the petitioner. However, it is also directed that the parole application shall be decided within time prescribed by law. In the meantime, the petitioner shall be granted appropriate medical treatment by jail authorities.
