The present petition has been preferred seeking following prayers: - "a) FOR ISSUE THE DIRECTION TO CONCERN AOUTHORY TO CONDUCT DEPARTMENT INQURY/DISCIPLINARY ACTION AGAINST THE THEN SHO SULTAN PURI NAMELY SUKHBIR MALIK AND I.O. S.I. HEMANT JANGID AND ALLOW TO COMPENSATION IN FAVOUR OF THE PETITIONER. ILLEGAL ARREST/DETENTION WITHOUT EVIDANCE AGAINST THE PETITIONER ON DATED 24.09.2022 IN THE FIR NO. 805/2022 P.S. Insofar as prayer (a) is concerned, the subject FIR is statedly pending trial. Insofar as prayer (b) is concerned, the petitioner's case was last reviewed in the year 2018.

Learned ASC for the State, while referring to the Status Report submits that the petitioner's grievance will be addressed by the concerned DCP and the continuation of his name in the bad character category in the surveillance register would also be reviewed. 6.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of alongwith the pending application.

Needless to state that while reviewing the matter, the petitioner would also be given an opportunity to be heard. In case, the petitioner is aggrieved by the outcome, he would be at liberty to approach the Court.
