Petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner, for directing the Respondents, to provide security to the Petitioner, in terms of the Order dated 23.02.2019 of Delhi State Legal Services Authority.

The submissions of the Petitioner was considered and vide detailed Order dated 02.05.2024, it was directed that PSO for 24 hours be continued till next date. Since then, the matter is pending. According to the Petitioner, he is a witness in more than 100 cases and therefore, needs the round the clock PSO, for his protection. Considering the totality of circumstances, it is directed that the Petitioner may approach to the District Witness Protection Committee, for the appropriate directions in the FIR in which, he is a The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
