CRL.M.C. 2820/2019 Petitioner is said to be deaf and dumb and according to petitioner the proceedings under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 (hereinafter referred as DV Act) are being conducted in contravention of sub-section 5 of Section 12 of DV Act, 2005 which mandates that an endeavour is to be made to dispose of the proceedings under the DV Act, 2005 within a period of 60 days. Attention of this Court is drawn to the order sheets of trial court (Annexure P-5).

CRL.M.C. 2820/2019

Upon hearing and on perusal of trial court order sheets (Annexure P-5), it is deemed appropriate to dispense with the notice of this petition to respondents with direction to trial court to make all endeavours to conclude the proceedings under the DV Act, 2005 in this case within a period of 60 days on the date already fixed.

Trial court be apprised of this order forthwith. This petition is accordingly disposed of.
