The instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950 read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 („Cr.P.C.‟) has been filed on behalf of petitioner seeking issuance of appropriate writ/direction/order directing respondent nos. 2 to 4 to ensure the safety of the petitioner by providing police protection to the petitioner against respondent no. 5 and from her associates and further directing respondent nos. 2 to 4 to take cognizance of the complaint filed by the petitioner and direct respondent nos. 1 to 4 to conduct investigation in light of complaint and submit detailed investigation report. 2.

Learned counsel for the complainant/respondent no. 5 who appears through Video Conferencing (VC) seeks time to file his Vakalatnama. 3.

The complainant is present through VC, identified by the Investigating Officer (IO) as well as learned counsel for complainant who, states that she has not followed the petitioner/accused as mentioned in the petition and states that she will not interfere in the life of the petitioner, however, subject to all just exceptions that she will take recourse to any legal remedies available to her even at present. 5.

In view of the submissions made, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition. 6.

Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. 7.
