Present Public Interest Litigation ('PIL') has been filed seeking repatriation of lecturers working in administrative posts in Department of Training and Technical Education ('DTTE').

Petitioner No.1 who was the head of the Department has unfortunately expired during the pendency of the proceedings. 3.
In fact, as far back as on 24th March, 2023, learned counsel for the Petitioner had informed the Court that one of the Petitioners was 'no more' and had taken time to file an appropriate application as well as amended memo of parties. Till date neither any application has been filed nor an amended memo of parties.

The Petitioner No.2 is admittedly a social activist, who is not working with the Department of Training and Technical Education. 5.
Since no PIL is maintainable in service matters, the present writ petition is dismissed on merits as well as on account of non-prosecution.
