The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "a) Direct the respondent No.2 & 3 to investigate the matter pending in FIR NO. 1276/2015, U/S 447/420/34 IPC, P.S. NEW ASHOK NAGAR, DELHI."

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner points out that the FIR in question was registered in the year 2015, thereafter, cancellation report was filed, which was not accepted by the learned court and further directions were given to conduct proper investigation. than one and a half years have since elapsed but no investigation has been conducted so far.

Considering the above and the suggestion made by Mr Mehra, learned Standing Counsel for the State, this Court considers it apposite to direct that the investigation in the present case be transferred to the Crime Branch, Delhi Police and the same be conducted under the supervision of the concerned DCP. It is so directed.

No further orders are required to be passed in this petition. The same is disposed of.
