This writ petition is filed by the petitioners seeking appropriate direction to respondent No. 1 to forthwith decide all the representations made by the petitioners.

Leaned counsel for the petitioners pointed out to Section 4(2) of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 to plead that the representations have been filed under the statutory provisions. It is pleaded that these representations pertain to the elections that had taken place to the said Indian Veterinary Council of India that were held on 20.08.2020 to 22.08.2020 results of which were declared on 24.08.2020. 3.

Learned counsel for respondent No. 1 has entered appearance. He

states that all these representations filed by the petitioners shall be dealt with and dispose of expeditiously preferably within three weeks from today. 4.

Binding respondent No. 1 to the above, the petition stands disposed of. Pending applications also stand disposed of. 5.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners states that he would like also to have a hearing before the concerned authority of respondent No. 1.

Let respondent No. 1 also give an appropriate hearing to the petitioners before dealing with the representations. Representations may be disposed of with a reasoned order.
