This application seeks permission to impose a major penalty i.e. compulsory retirement of petitioner based on the findings of inquiry report. 2.

It is noted that this contempt petition was disposed of by order dated 28th August 2024, with liberty to respondent to take permission of the Court, in case the status quo orders granted by the writ court on 21st April 2022 in W.P. (C) 6377/2022, in case they have to take any action for disengagement of petitioner.

Considering that the writ petition is still pending before the Court, it would be appropriate if said directions are taken in W.P. (C) 6377/2022. 4.

Liberty is granted.
