Applicant seeks anticipatory bail in a case arising out of FIR No. 454/2024 dated 27.12.2024, registered at Police Station Laxmi Nagar, for offences under Sections 309(4)/311/3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 (corresponding Sections 392/397/34 of IPC). Subsequently, in the charge-sheet, Sections 317(2)/61(2) BNS (corresponding Sections 411/120B IPC) were added.

The applicant is strongly relying upon a CCTV footage in order to show that he was, rather, trying to save the complainant and was not one of the robbers. When the present application was taken up by the learned Coordinate Bench of this Court on 29.04.2025, the applicant was permitted to join investigation. It is now informed that the main accused has already been arrested and released on bail, and that supplementary charge-sheet qua the present applicant has also been filed and laid before the concerned Court. 4.

In view of the above and also appreciating the intervening time-gap, order dated 29.04.2025 is, hereby, made absolute and it is ordered that in the event of arrest, the applicant be released by the Arresting Officer on his furnishing personal bond and surety bond in a sum of Rs. 25,000/- each. 5.

The applications stand disposed of in aforesaid terms. 6.
