The petitioner is defending a suit filed under Section 27, 29, 134 & 135 of Trademarks Act, 1999 and Section 55 of Copyright Act 1957 seeking permanent injunction, passing off etc.

The petitioner is aggrieved by order dated 27.02.2025 whereby his application moved under Order VII Rule 10 CPC has been dismissed. 3.

However, since the matter relates to a suit pertaining to Trademarks Act and Copyright Act, the present petition needs to be registered as CM(M) (IPD). The concerned official from the Registry has also been called who confirms that the present petition is required to be registered as CM(M) (IPD).
