This petition has been filed by the Petitioner under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No. 286/2021 dated 17.10.2021, under Sections 420/468/471 IPC and Section 12 of Passports Act, 1967, registered at PS: IGI Airport, primarily on the ground that there is a delay in investigation.

After canvassing some arguments, learned counsel for the Petitioner on instructions, seeks to withdraw the petition with a liberty to approach the CRL.M.C. 3546/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Court in case the investigation is not concluded in near future. 7.

The Court records the assurance of learned APP for the State, on instructions from Investigating Officer, who is present in the Court that every endeavor will be made to conclude the investigation expeditiously and the delay is pursuant to a letter dated 22.12.2021, sent by Ministry of External Affairs, copy of which has been handed over in the Court, since the Visa in question is Canadian Visa.
