This appeal was filed against an order dated 24.04.2025 passed by learned Single Judge. On 29.04.2025, this Court stayed the order passed by learned Single Judge on 24.04.2025, however, in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No. 14016/2025, Hon9ble Supreme Court vide its order dated 30.01.2026, has set aside the order dated 29.04.2025 passed by this Court with a further request to learned Single Judge to decide the petition as expeditiously as possible.

The order dated 30.01.2026 passed by Hon9ble Supreme Court in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No. 14016/2025 is extracted herein below: <1) Arising out of an interim order dated 29.04.2025 of the Division Bench of the High Court of Delhi staying the operation of the order of status quo passed by learned Single Judge on 24.04.2025, the present special leave petition has been filed. 2) While issuing notice on 09.05.2025, this Court stayed the operation of order of the Division Bench dated 29.04.2025, meaning thereby that the order of status quo, as directed by the Single Judge on 24.04.2025 has become operational.

3) Since for the last more than six months this petition is pending before this Court, however, in our view, in the facts and circumstances of the case, it would be appropriate to set aside the order passed by the Division Bench maintaining the order of status quo, as directed by learned Single Judge, with a request to the Single Judge to decide the Writ Petition as expeditiously as possible. 4) Parties are left open to raise all the contention as are available to them.

5) With the aforesaid observations, the special leave petition stands disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.= 3.

In view of the aforesaid, this appeal has been rendered infructuous, which is, accordingly, hereby disposed of in terms of the aforesaid order passed by Hon9ble Supreme Court.
