This is a joint petition preferred on behalf of the parties under Section 29A(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') for extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal. 4.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to four Agreements, being Business Transfer Agreement dated 21.12.2017, Deed of Assignment dated 04.01.2018, Rent Agreement dated 30.04.2018 and Trade Mark Licence Agreement dated 03.01.2018, 3-Member Arbitral Tribunal was constituted to adjudicate the disputes and the learned Arbitral Tribunal O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 340/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. entered upon reference on 05.01.2023. Pleadings were completed on 11.06.2023, whereafter issues were to be framed but on account of some dispute with respect to arbitral fee, the Arbitral Tribunal terminated its mandate.

It is stated in the petition that thereafter both parties appointed their respective nominee substitute Arbitrators and the re-constituted Arbitral Tribunal entered upon reference on 05.01.2024. It is further stated that the evidence has concluded and the Arbitral Tribunal has fixed the matter for final arguments from 07.07.2025 to 12.07.2025 and for pronouncing the award by 31.12.2025. However, since the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal expired on 09.06.2024, this petition has been preferred for extension of the mandate upto 31.12.2025.

Accordingly, with consent of the parties, mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended upto 31.12.2025 from 29.04.2025 and period between 10.06.2024 to 28.04.2025 is regularised. 7.

Petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
