This writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner seeking the following reliefs:

"i. Pass a writ/order/direction in the nature of mandamus in favour of the petitioner and against the respondents No.1 to 3 thereby directing the respondents No.1 to 3 to grant the protection, safety and security to the precious life of the petitioner."

Mr. Jatin, Advocate appearing on behalf of Mr. Rahul Tyagi, learned ASC for State, on instructions from Investigating Officer, WSI Amrita, who is present in the Court states that the mobile number of Beat Constable of the concerned area will be furnished to the Petitioner during the course of the day, on which the Petitioner will be free to contact for any help. Needless to state that it will be open to the Petitioner to approach the Beat Constable of the concerned area, who on receiving call will render prompt assistance and take necessary action.

This Court also takes notice of the report filed by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, in compliance of the order dated 06.07.2022, wherein it is stated that Ms. Shweta Chauhan, DCP (Central) had filed threat analysis report indicating that threat analysis has been conducted and the Petitioner has been found to be under threat of category "C" as per Witness Protection Scheme, 2018. Based on this, Committee has decided to provide adequate security to the Petitioner, when he appears before the Court on the dates of hearing. The SHO of the concerned area shall comply with the decision of the Committee.

Petition stands disposed of as no further order is called for.
