O R D E R

% 18.05.2026 1.

Admittedly, the Petitioner has been paid the retiral benefits. 2.

Thereafter, he was paid interest amounting to Rs. 7,98,041/- for a period of 68 months.

3.

Learned counsel representing the Petitioner submits that interest ought to have been paid for a period of 71 months and not 68 months. 4.

Some reasonable time is required to be granted to the employer for disbursement of retiral benefits.

5.

In the opinion of this Court, a period of three months is reasonable for the said purpose.

6.

Accordingly, no further orders are required to be passed and the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
