The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by the petitioner seeking direction to the respondent no.1/DDA to change the land use of the property bearing Plot No.11/1 Village Tajpur, Mathura Road, New Delhi, 110044 (hereinafter "property"). 4.

Mr. Gaurav M. Liberhan, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said property had been leased out by the petitioner's family to the HPCL for running a petrol pump, however, the said lease was terminated and the property has now reverted back to the petitioner. 5.

He submits that the petitioner had approached the respondent no.2/MCD for approval of certain building plans, however, the MCD has The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. informed the petitioner that for approval of building plans for carrying out construction over the subject property, the petitioner needs to get the status of land use changed from the DDA since the DDA has identified the said property as "petrol pump" in its zonal plan.

He submits that a representation dated 07.03.2025 (Annexure P-9) has also been made by the petitioner to the respondent/DDA. 7.

He further contends that for the time being the petitioner will not press his petition any further, if a direction is given to the respondent no.1/DDA to dispose of the said representation in a time bound manner. 8.

In view of the above, issue notice.

Ms.

Prabhsahay Kaur, the learned Standing Counsel for the DDA/respondent no.1 accepts notice. Likewise, Mr. Sanjay Vashishtha, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent no.2/MCD accepts notice. 10.

Ms. Kaur submits that the DDA/respondent no.1 has no objection in case the petition is disposed of with necessary directions. 11.

Having regard to the limited relief pressed, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.1/DDA to dispose of petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2025(at Annexure P-9) within a period of four weeks by a speaking order. The speaking order so passed may be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter. 12.

Needless to say that the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the Court against the speaking order passed by the DDA, if so advised.
