O R D E R

The perusal of the impugned order indicates that the request of parole was rejected inter alia on the ground that six months have not lapsed from the date of surrender, on the conclusion of the previous parole availed. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had surrendered on 16.02.2024.The parole has predominantly been rejected by the respondent on the ground that six months have not lapsed from the date of surrender.

As per nominal roll the petitioner had surrendered on 16.02.2024. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to move a fresh application for release on parole.

The petitioner may file a fresh application for parole on medical grounds after expiry of six months i.e., after 16.08.2024. In view of the medical condition as explained by the petitioner, the respondent shall dispose of such application for parole within three weeks of its filing.
