O R D E R

By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks the following prayers:

"a) to direct the respondent no 3 (petitioner living in area of r3) to provide police protection through beat constable of area on 11:00 am day by day to the petitioner and also direct the respondent no 1 to 2 to immediately take action (stop) to ensure not to upload the video clip of the obscene and nude scence (porn video) of the petitioner with the r-4 (ex- husband) recorded fraudulently by her ex-husband and to ensure the dignity of the petitioner, a woman who has been exploited by her ex-husband and forcing her to commit suicide and call the respondent no ·1 before this court to submit what action has been taken on the complaint of petitioner of dated: 19.04.2025. c) pass any other and further orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case in the favor of the petitioner and in the interest of Justice."

The petitioner alleges that she is being harassed at the hands of her husband. The learned Standing Counsel for the State, at the outset, submits that even though the petitioner should have taken recourse to appropriate proceedings under Section 175(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ('BNS'), however, he has instructions to state that the complaint is being looked into. He submits that the complaint was given only recently on 19.04.2025 and the officer has already been assigned for this purpose.

He submits that appropriate action will be taken expeditiously in accordance with the law. He submits that the mobile number of the Beat Officer would also be provided to the petitioner and she is at liberty to contact the Beat Officer in case she feels any threat to her life and liberty from anyone. 5.

Considering the above, this Court does not consider it apposite to keep the present petition pending. The same is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate proceedings in future in case any grievance remains. 6.

The learned counsel, who represents the petitioner, states that he has also been personally threatened by the petitioner's husband.

The officer at the concerned Police Station is directed to look into that aspect and take appropriate action if required. 8.
