By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks following prayers: "...a. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, directing the trial court JMFC, Shahdara, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi to expedite the trial in case FIR No.341/2022, U/s 392/394/411/34 IPC, PS Nand Nagari, Delhi titled as "State Vs. Anshul Singh" and conclude the proceedings within a stipulated time frame;
b. Direct the respondents to ensure that no further unnecessary adjoumments are granted and that the trial proceeds in a timebound manner..."

investigation in the present case has been completed and the chargesheet also stands filed. It is stated that despite the statutory period having lapsed, the trial has been unduly prolonged causing significant prejudice to the petitioner. It is, therefore, prayed that appropriate orders be passed in this regard.

The learned Trial Court is requested to make every endeavour expedite and conclude the proceedings within a stipulated time frame in case arising out of FIR No.341/2022, registered at Police Staiton Nand Nagari, Delhi for the offences punishable under Sections 392/394/411/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC') titled as "State Vs. Anshul Singh".
