1. The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeks to assail the order dated 18.02.2020 passed by the learned Central Administrative Tribunal (Tribunal) in Original Application (O.A.) No. 1868/2019. Vide the impugned order, the learned Tribunal had allowed the O.A. filed by the respondent by directing the petitioner to refix pension of the respondent by granting him an additional increment for the period between 01.07.2012 to 30.06.2013.
2. Learned counsel for both sides submit that the Apex Court, in Civil Appeal No. 2471/2023 (SLP(C) No. 6185/2020) "The Director (Admn. and HR) KPTCL & Ors. Vs. C.P. Mundinamani & Ors.", has taken the same view as taken by the learned Tribunal in the impugned order.

3. In the light of the aforesaid, once the view taken by the learned Tribunal has been endorsed by the Apex Court, we see no reason to interfere with the impugned order.
4. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed. However, taking into account that the respondent has been deprived of the benefits for the last many years, we direct that the benefits in terms of the impugned order will be paid to the respondent with interest @6% per annum from the date of passing of the impugned order. The said benefits would be released within a period of eight weeks.
