W.P.(C) 6402/2020 1.

The learned counsel for the respondent no.3, who appears on advance notice, submits that the letter giving reasons for repudiating the claim of the petitioner under the Insurance Policy shall be supplied to the petitioner positively within a week from today.

In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner prays for leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to challenge the said letter in accordance with the law.

Binding the respondent no.3 to the statement, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has a raised further grievance that the email address of the Insurance Ombudsman for the States of Delhi and Rajasthan given on the website of the respondent no.2 is not working. In this regard he has also drawn my attention to the Annexure-E to the petition stating that the said address could not be found and therefore email sent by the petitioner could not be delivered. 5.

The respondent no.2 shall inform the petitioner of the correct email address on which the petitioner can lodge his complaint, if so advised. 6.

In case the email address of the Insurance Ombudsman is not functional, the respondent no.2 shall also update its website providing the correct email address of the Insurance Ombudsman. 7.

A copy of this order be supplied to the learned counsel for the petitioner on the email address provided for seeking compliance from the respondent no.2.
