Mr. Rajesh Gogna, CGSC appearing for the Union of India/petitioner, points out to order dated 6th July 2022, by which the operation of the impugned order dated 15th November 2019, had been stayed relying on the order dated 6th July 2021, in W.P(C) 6115/2021 titled as 'Union of India v. Ramesh Chand' 2021:DHC: 1978.

He informs that the said W.P(C) 6115/2021 along with connected petitions has now been disposed of by the Coordinate Bench of this Court on 6th July 2021, effectively remanding the matters back to the Appellate Authority under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 to be heard on the issue of the jurisdiction raised by the Union of India. 3.
It is also noted that the respondent has not been appearing in this matter. Accordingly, on the basis of the decision in Union of India v. direction that the matters are remanded back to the Appellate Authority for being adjudicated on the basis of the same directions passed in Union of India v. Ramesh Chand (supra).

It is clarified that the delay in filing the appeal before the Appellate Authority shall stand condoned and shall not come the way of adjudication of issue.

Petition is, therefore, disposed of.
