The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of her interim maintenance application in CT Case No. 1464/2022 filed under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

The annexures filed along with the petition does not indicate the reason why the interim application has not been decided as yet.

Therefore, the cause for the delay in disposal of the application for interim maintenance is not clear. However, without going into the reason for such delay, this Court is of the opinion that the application seeking interim maintenance ought to be decided expeditiously since the party seeks urgent relief. 6.
