Petitioner, who is, General Secretary of a Resident Welfare Association seeks initiation of contempt of proceedings for wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order dated 04.12.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No. 15543/2023.

This Court has seen the order dated 04.12.2023 whereby the following directions were given by the learned Division Bench:- "5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, this Court directs the petitioner to file separate representations with the Delhi Police and the CONT.CAS(C) 728/2024 1 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD'') respectively, raising all his grievances. The grievance of the petitioner regarding high decibel music in the said restaurants till late night and the said restaurants are running without license, shall be looked into by the Delhi Police. The grievance of the petitioner regarding traffic jam and lack of adequate parking spaces in the area in question shall be looked into by the Traffic Police and the MCD. The petitioner is granted liberty to file the respective representations within two weeks raising all his grievances. The representation of the petitioner shall be decided by the respective bodies within four weeks of receipt of such representation. At the time of deciding the representation of the petitioner, the MCD may also explore the possibility of developing parking spaces in the vicinity of the area in order to tackle the problem of traffic jam in the area.

6. The present PIL is disposed of in the aforesaid terms." 3.

During course of arguments, Mr. Vivek Sood, learned Senior Counsel, on instructions, submits that, admittedly, the representations given by the petitioners have been decided by the concerned Authorities but there is no effective redressal of the grievances raised by the petitioner. 4.

After hearing arguments for some time, learned Senior Counsel for petitioner, on instructions, submits that while reserving his rights and contentions, the petitioner does not press the present petition but, at the same time, the petitioner also seeks liberty to file appropriate other petition for redressal of his grievances by challenging the responses received from the concerned Authorities.

Petition stands disposed of as not pressed. Liberty, as prayed, is given.
