The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent no.2 to take appropriate action for expediting the investigation in FIR bearing no. 742/2014 dated 20.09.2014, under Sections 420/467/468/471/448/120-B of the IPC, registered with Police Station Jyoti Nagar.

Ms Rao, learned ASC appearing for the State has handed over a status report, which indicates that the investigation in this case is in the final stages. In addition, she submits, on instructions, that a draft chargesheet has already been prepared and has been sent for approval. She states that the final chargesheet would be filed before the concerned Court within a period of three weeks from today.
