Mr Aggarwal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the learned trial court has not examined the contentions that were advanced on behalf of the petitioner. He further submits that, the learned trial court has decided the bail application on merits and, therefore, it would be apposite for this Court to consider the present petition notwithstanding that the charge-sheet has not been filed.

Mr Raju, learned ASG appearing for the State submits that time for completion of investigation was extended till 17.09.2020 and a charge-sheet shall be filed on or before the said date (that is by tomorrow). 5.

Considering that the charge-sheet shall be filed by 17.09.2020, this Court does not consider it apposite to entertain the preset petition at this stage. However, it is directed that if the petitioner files an application for bail after the charge-sheet is filed, the trial court shall consider the same afresh and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of two weeks from the date of filing of the said application. 6.

Mr Raju, learned ASG further submits that state will not take adjournments in the said matter.
