Learned counsel for petitioner submits that as an out of Court settlement, respondent has paid a sum of Rs. 2,50,000/- to petitioner (Rs. 2,00,000/- by way of demand draft bearing no. 999989 dated 24.02.2025 drawn on HDFC Bank Kalkaji, New Delhi-110019 and Rs. 50,000/- by way of cheque bearing no. 011085 dated 28.02.2025 drawn on HDFC Bank, Kalkaji, New Delhi-110019).

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that in view of the aforesaid payment, which has been accepted by the petitioner without prejudice to his rights and contentions and also on account of unconditional apology already on record, petitioner is no longer interested in pursuing with his present contempt petition.
