The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent no.1/MCD to take action against the unauthorized construction being carried out on public land near Javed Chemist, Gali No. 3, Johri Farm, Jamia Nagar, Okhla, New Delhi (hereinafter the 'subject property'). 2.
Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/MCD on advance notice submits that demolition order has already been passed against the unauthorized construction on the subject property on 22nd May, 2026, W.P.(C) 7853/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. pursuant to a show-cause notice issued on 8th January, 2026. The aforesaid documents have been handed over in Court and the same are taken on record.

Counsel for the petitioner is satisfied with the action taken by MCD. 4.
Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent no.1/MCD to proceed in respect of the unauthorized construction in the subject property in accordance with law. 5.
All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the owner/occupier are kept open.
