The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the appeal preferred by the petitioner before the Central Government against an order of the Passport Authority rejecting the petitioner's passport, may be disposed of expeditiously.

It is stated that the petitioner's passport was revoked on 11.01.2019 under the provisions of Section 10(3) (c) of the Passports Act, 1967. The petitioner has filed an appeal under Section 11 of the Passports Act, 1967
impugning the said order, which is stated to be pending. 4.
Mr Ahluwalia, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, states on instructions that the petitioner's appeal would be disposed of within a period of one week, from today.

In view of the above, the limited grievance of the petitioner as urged by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, is addressed. 6.
The petition is disposed of.
