Though the Judgment in this appeal had been reserved, we are happy to note that the appellant and the respondent no.1, who is the only contesting respondent/plaintiff in the suit, have amicably settled their disputes, placing on record a Memorandum of Settlement ('MoU') dated 26.05.2025.

In terms of the said MoU, the respondent no.1 has received the amount of Rs.26 lacs from the appellant in full and final satisfaction of the decretal amount.

The respondent no.1 shall also remain bound by the statements given in the MoU.

The application is accordingly allowed. The decree is declared to have been satisfied in the above terms.
