The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking that his application dated 31.01.2025 for empanelment as an Authorized Collection Centres (ACC) of Stock Holding Companies of India Ltd. for the purpose of generation and distribution of e-Stamp certificates below Rs.501/-, be decided in a time bound manner by the respondents. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice submits that the said application is at an advanced stage of consideration, and an 'in principle' has been taken by the competent authority (respondent no.2) to allow the petitioner's application.

It is submitted that after following appropriate procedure, a speaking order shall be passed on the petitioner's application and shall be duly intimated to the petitioner. He assures that the said process shall be concluded within a period of eight weeks from today. 4.
