The present petition is directed against the order dated 03.05.2002 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) in OA No. 1952/2001 filed by the respondent No.1 seeking release of his leave encashment with 18% per annum interest and release of gratuity and commutation value of pension, subject to execution of a bond.

Learned counsel for petitioner states, on instructions, that respondent No.1 has expired during the pendency of the present petition and in any event, the petitioner has already made compliances of the order dated 03.05.2002. As a result, the present petition has been rendered infructuous. 3.

In view of the submission made above, the present petition is disposed of as infructuous.
