This is an application seeking early hearing of the present writ petition.

The present petition has been filed by the petitioner assailing an order dated 25.04.2022 passed by the respondent no.1/ Bar Council of India. 6.

Various submissions have been made by the petitioner, inter alia, that there was no justification for institution of the disciplinary proceeding against him at the instance of a person who was not the client of the petitioner and with whom the petitioner has no jural relationship. 7.

Council of India (BCI) submits that in the event the petitioner submits a representation, the same shall be duly considered by the BCI, taking into account the contentions made in the present petition and an appropriate order would be passed by BCI. It is directed accordingly. 8.

Let the aforesaid exercise be concluded as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of 8 weeks from today. 9.

The present petition stands disposed of in the above terms. 10.

Needless to say, if the petitioner is aggrieved with the outcome of the aforesaid exercise, he shall be at liberty to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
