The present petition raises a grievance as regards unauthorized construction at property bearing Khasra No.894 (New Khasra No.115), Village Alipur, Delhi.

Learned counsel for MCD, who appears on advance notice submits that upon inspection, unauthorized construction was found in the property in question and consequently a work-stop notice has been issued with regard thereto. He submits that appropriate action in accordance with law shall be expeditiously taken to remove the unauthorized construction within a period of four weeks. Further, in case any unauthorized construction is ongoing, urgent steps shall be taken to bring the same to an immediate halt in accordance with law.

assistance to the MCD for the action proposed to be taken. 4.

Needless to say, the above action shall be subject to the statutory remedies of the owner/occupier of the property in question. 5.

In view of the aforesaid, no further directions are required to be passed in the present petition at this stage. The same is accordingly disposed of.

In case, there is any deficiency in the action taken by the MCD, the petitioner shall be entitled to take appropriate remedies under law.
