The petitioners are contractual employees in the respondent No. 1University. They seek various service related benefits, including statutory increase in dearness allowances and uniform extension of tenure for at least 11 months.

respondent but the representations have not been answered. The representations also form part of Annexure P-10 to the writ petition. 3.

Having regard to the nature of the relief sought, which has not yet been decided by the University, I am of the view that the University should first consider the petitioners' claims in accordance with law within a time bound period. The University is directed to dispose of the representations, at Annexure P-10 to the writ petition, within a period of eight weeks from today positively.

The writ petition is disposed of leaving all rights and contentions of the parties open.
