The present petition raises a grievance as regards alleged unauthorised construction at property bearing Flat No.178-A, Ground Floor, Pocket-1, Mayur Vihar, Phase-I, Delhi-110091.

Learned counsel for the MCD submits that certain unauthorized extensions that were earlier existing in the property in question, have already been demolished. He submits that the property in question has since been inspected whereupon it was found that presently, no unauthorised construction is subsisting therein except that the verandah of the property has been covered. He submits that prima facie, the said coverage is compoundable under the relevant bye-laws/ regulations. 3.
After some hearing, learned counsel for the MCD submits that if any application for regularization is filed by the owner/occupier of the property in question, the same shall be considered in accordance with law, failing which appropriate steps for demolition of the unauthorised construction The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
