% 02.07.2026 1.
Learned counsel for the petitioner hands over an order dated 06.06.2026 passed by the learned Arbitral Tribunal notifying the parties thereby that it proposes to deliver the award on 09.07.2026, subject to the extension of the mandate of the Tribunal by this Court.
2.
Having regard to the fact that the entire proceedings before the learned Arbitral Tribunal is to only now culminate in publication of the award, there does not seem to be any reason or any impediment as to why the powers under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, ought not to be exercised by this Court.
3.
Learned counsel for the respondents had certain objections, however, having regard to the aforesaid fact, it does not seem appropriate to delay the publication of the award by the Tribunal, particularly when the Tribunal has already notified the parties of its intention to do so. 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the Coordinate Bench of this Court in another petition of the same nature, has already extended The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the mandate of the same learned Tribunal for three months from 31.05.2026, the day when the erstwhile mandate had expired. 5.
Accordingly and in alignment to the aforesaid submission, the mandate of the Tribunal which had expired on 31.05.2026 stands extended further to a period of three months from 31.05.2026.
