The present petition is filed seeking expeditious disposal of the case arising out of FIR No. 625/2017.

FIR No. 625/2017 was registered way back in the year 2017 and the chargesheet was also filed on 28.03.2022. 5.

It is pointed out that the charges are yet to be framed since the Investigating Officer has not been appearing. 6.

The learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that the Investigating Officer was dismissed from service.

The State is directed to take expeditious steps for assigning a new Investigating Officer, not later than four weeks from today. 8.
