WP(C) 6596/2020 & CM 23014/2020 1.
The limited grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that inspite of the respondent no.2, vide its letter dated 14.01.2020, sanctioning the request of the petitioner for supply of water to the petitioner and the PWD/respondent no.3, vide its Sanction letter dated 20.02.2020, allowing the petitioner to carry out the work of road cutting and repair for laying out the pipeline for such water supply, the petitioner could not carry out the work due to some local miscreants creating problems and objecting to the same. The petitioner made representations seeking police protection to the respondent no.1 for carrying out such work and also to the respondent no.3 seeking further extension of the sanctioned period for carrying out the work.
The petitioner having failed to receive a response, the present petition has been filed.
2.

The petition is disposed of binding the respondent no. 1 and 3 to their statement and directions in terms thereof.
4.
Incase there is a requirement of an Officer of the respondent no.2 to be present during the execution of the work, the respondent no.2 shall also ensure deputing such Officer to avoid any further dispute regarding the work being carried out by the petitioner.
