W.P.(C) 6586/2020 & CM APPL. 22998/2020 Present petition relates to selection process initiated by the Staff Selection Commission with respect to vacancies arising in various Departments of the Central Government. The jurisdiction to entertain the present petition lies with the Central Administrative Tribunal, in view of the judgement of the Constitutional Bench in L. Chandra Kumar v. Union of India and Others, [(1997) 3 SCC 261].

After some hearing, Mr. S. Chatterjee learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal.
