Petitioner has filed this application seeking restoration of his petition which was dismissed as withdrawn on 17.09.2020 permitting the petitioner to approach the Monitoring Committee for redressal of his grievances.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in its judgment dated 14.08.2020 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 4677 of 1985 titled M.C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Ors. The Supreme Court has clarified that the Monitoring Committee was put in place for the purpose of monitoring the commercial activities in residential premises. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the was running W.P.(C) 6605/2020 1 MAGGU to HMJ Sanjeev Sachdeva.
an industry in an industrial area and as such the Monitoring Committee has no role.
