Pursuant to the order dated 01.05.2025, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Pathak, learned counsel for the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi ["GNCTD"], submits that the petitioners' request for an alternative plot was rejected by the order of the District Magistrate dated 03.12.2019 on the recommendations of the Scrutiny Committee. According to him, the matter could not be revisited thereafter in the absence of any challenge to the said order.

Mr. Praveen Suri, learned counsel for the petitioners, however, submits that other similarly situated persons have been allotted alternative plots thereafter, as stated in the legal notice dated 02.04.2025, annexed at W.P.(C) 5749/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. At this stage, the only relief sought is for a response to the representation to be communicated to the petitioners. 4.

Having regard to this limited relief, the respondent No. 1-GNCTD is directed to communicate its position to the petitioners through their counsel within a period of eight weeks from today. This Court has not entered into the merits of the petitioners' case. 5.

The writ petition is disposed of with these directions, reserving the rights and remedies of the parties.
