Through this Petition, the Petitioner prays for following prayers:- "a. issue a writ, order or direction especially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to transfer the petitioner to CGO Complex, Delhi, ;
R.K.
Puram, Delhi;
WC SDG Headquarters, Chandigarh; 25TH Battalion, Border Security Force, Chhawla, Delhi or Sector Headquarters, BSF, Bikaner on account of his terminal posting."

The Petitioner is serving as an Assistant Sub-Inspector (GD) in the Border Security Force (BSF).
He is due for retirement on 31.03.2029.

A Writ Court is not expected to issue a writ of mandamus directing the employer to post the employee to a particular place. Matters of posting and transfer fall primarily within the administrative domain of the employer, unless a case of arbitrariness, mala fides or violation of a statutory provision is made out.
